ABOUT THE BAND
We are a Rochester, NY based band that started in September of 2021. The band name originates partly from guitarist Mat Sulyma’s love and dedication to animal rescue. The other part references the band’s love of all kinds of music, resulting in impromptu jamming during practice which causes temporary loss of focus…
The band members consist of 2 guitarists, Mat Sulyma and Scott Seyfried, who are long time friends that enjoy playing together and tinkering with their instruments and equipment. Another tinkerer is Dave Elsbree who is a talented bass player and gifted story teller who LOVES talking shop. Suzanne is a total misfit because she is not a tinkerer and doesn’t like it when the equipment doesn’t work when you turn it on and prefers playing instruments that do not require any electricity (vocal chords, tambourine, maracas, triangle, etc.). The heartbeat of the band is our very own Andy Park who loves playing the drums.
The band’s style is eclectic, reflecting our varied music taste. We have a soft spot for those B-side tunes that don’t get the attention that they deserve. On a sunny warm day you might find us entertaining the neighborhood, playing on Suzanne’s porch in the village of Fairport.

| Suzanne Roscoe Lead Vocals | Suzanne grew up in Endicott, NY. She has always been a big music buff, influenced very young by her teenage siblings blasting Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Moody Blues, Eagles, Linda Rhonstadt, and Fleetwood Mac throughout the house. She learned to play several instruments, including violin and clarinet, but lost interest in middle school due to a nasty band teacher. From then on, she made use of her vocal chords and sang in plays, choirs and in the shower. She went on to College to become an engineer and moved to the Rochester area and sang in a band for a bit. Life got in the way as she got married and raised two kids with her husband in Fairport, but after the nest was empty, music was calling her back. | Mat Sulyma Rhythm/Lead Guitar | Born in Rochester, New Hampshire, Mat began his musical journey the way many great guitarists do: by being allowed within approximately three feet of his dad’s acoustic guitar. After several years living in Scotland, Mat and his family eventually settled in the Rochester, New York area, where fate, questionable judgment, and an electric guitar would change everything. At 16, Mat received his first electric guitar, and what began as a hobby quickly developed into a full-blown condition. In high school, Mat teamed up with fellow cat herder Scott in the legendary Whiskers on the Moon, a band whose name alone should have been enough to guarantee a record deal. It wasn't. | Dave Elsbree Bass, Vocals | Dave started playing guitar when he was 8 years old and started taking lessons at a music store in East Rochester. The guitar teachers at the store were students from the Eastman School of Music. Dave started playing in bands when he was 13 years old, but the bands could not find decent bass players, so he decided to learn how to play the bass guitar. In high school, Dave was in a band called Teaser. The band played blues and pop rock including Dave Bowie, CCR, Kiss and Styx. After high school Dave joined a band that played Southern Rock called the Cole Younger Band. The band toured all over Upstate NY, playing the music of the Allman Brothers, .38 Special, ZZ Top, Wet Willie and Huey Lewis and the News. | Scott "Mr. Brown" Seyfried Guitar, Vocals | Scott “Mr. Brown” Seyfried is a guitarist, visionary, and part-time fugitive from the metronome. Known for his distinctive playing style—somewhere between “technically impressive” and “what the hell was that?”—Scott brings an unmatched combination of musical talent, questionable decisions, and suspiciously large guitar collections to the band. Legend has it that Scott first picked up a guitar after realizing that owning one was significantly cheaper than therapy. Since then, he has dedicated himself to the pursuit of tone, volume, and finding the one pedal that will finally make everything sound “just right.” Onstage, Mr. Brown is a force of nature. | Andy Park | Andy Park is the drummer, timekeeper, and unofficial HR department of the band, primarily because nobody else has the patience to count us in. Armed with two sticks, a questionable sense of rhythm, and the unwavering confidence of a man who has never met a cymbal he couldn’t hit harder, Andy provides the thunderous backbone that keeps the band moving forward—usually in approximately the right direction. Andy’s drumming philosophy is simple: if one hit is good, three is better. If three is good, 17 is probably a fill. And if the audience looks confused, that’s just evidence that the music is working.
